<p>Since the 1997 "flat" tree, the obvious next phase is to go 3D.&nbsp;
3D has the advanctage of disposing of even more CDs in one swell foop (a
good thing) but modeling and designing the construct is much harder.&nbsp;
The above is the best we've come up with so far.&nbsp; The actual construction
will use CDs instead of pennies, and so the connectors will be much less
prominent.&nbsp; Most likely lights will be strung in the interior, which
should create nice&nbsp; reflections.&nbsp; Suggestions for improvements
are welcome.
<p>We're using a nifty toy called Coinstruction<i>CoinStruction</i> <i>Coinstruction</i>
to play with ideas.
